Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Dublin. Owing to the nature of the projects, the role will suit someone with experience of working on rail, highways, utilities or aviation projects.
Principal Accountabilities:
Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks, to include:
Organisational/admin support
Scheduling and attending meetings, drafting and taking minutes, etc
Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
Producing project plans
Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
Tracking and documenting changes
Preparing written project communication materials
Preparing formal project progress and other reports
Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
Reporting
Experience:
Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
A minimum of 2 years project management experience, preferably gained within the environment mentioned above.
Understanding of project life cycle
Knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
Design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment. ideally residential, office, fit-outs and health & education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Degree or its equivalent in Construction Management or Related Field
Qualification in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent is desirable
