AKBER RETAIL CP LIMITED T/A Mace River Valley is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Operations Manager to join our team at River Valley Shopping Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high operational standards, supervising staff, managing stock, and supporting the continued growth and success of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Monitor stock levels, coordinate stock ordering, and ensure effective stock control.
Ensure the store is well presented, clean, and fully compliant with company standards.
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving business targets.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and company policies.
Prepare staff rotas and assist with recruitment, training, and performance management.
Manage cash handling procedures and daily financial reconciliations.
Work closely with senior management to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Good knowledge of stock control, merchandising, and retail operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound operational decisions.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in cash handling and retail management systems is an advantage.
