Are you an experienced SAP Payroll professional who thrives on solving complex business challenges and driving payroll transformation?

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Business Analyst – SAP Payroll to join a high-performing team where you’ll play a key role in shaping and optimising payroll solutions across a large and complex environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines deep SAP Payroll expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for continuous improvement. This role is an 18 month contract and will be based in our Sydney CBD office.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for SAP Payroll projects and enhancements

Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to deliver business-critical solutions

Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP configuration designs

Support upgrades, integrations, testing cycles and payroll parallel runs

Drive process improvement, automation and digital transformation initiatives

Ensure payroll compliance with Australian legislation including STP, PAYG and superannuation requirements

What You’ll Bring

Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst within SAP Payroll environments

Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements

Proven experience delivering SAP Payroll projects, upgrades or enhancements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with SIT/UAT testing and payroll reconciliation processes

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience

Exposure to UKG (highly regarded)

Knowledge of integrations, APIs, IDocs or middleware technologies (highly regarded)

Experience in large, fast-paced or shared services organisations (highly regarded)

Proven experience in understanding rules and schemas is highly advantageous
