Why the role?

We’re looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to deliver reporting, analysis and insights that support both operational and strategic decision-making.

Data and reporting are a critical focus for the firm, and this role plays an important part in delivering the insights that support business decisions.

As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical Power BI assessment at our Melbourne office.

This is an opportunity to:

Play an important role in delivering and improving data and reporting across the firm

Work across a variety of business areas and reporting challenges

Be part of a small, specialist data and reporting function delivering high-quality, impactful insights

Key responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear requirements

Design, build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards

Take ownership of delivering reporting outputs, working independently while collaborating with the wider team

Analyse data and provide clear, actionable insights

Support monthly and quarterly reporting processes

Contribute to data transformation and modelling across multiple data sources

Help maintain data quality and ensure reporting is accurate and reliable

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and deliver more value through data

Who are you?

3+ years’ experience in data analytics and reporting

Solid, hands-on experience with Power BI, including regularly designing, building and maintaining reports and dashboards in a business environment

Proficient in SQL, DAX Studio and Power BI for querying, transforming and visualising data from various sources.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Quick to learn new technologies and processes, with a proactive and autonomous work style.

Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills for engaging non-technical stakeholders.
