Senior ServiceNow Engineer

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

Drive and oversee the maintenance of a multi-tenant service management blueprint, ensuring alignment with operational and engineering standards.

Contribute to the execution of the Service Management Platforms strategy, participating in strategic discussions, technology assessments and organizational initiatives.

Resolve complex technical challenges by researching and proposing solutions, including debugging and troubleshooting production issues, while collaborating with internal teams.

Handle tickets from low to high priority and deliver timely technical support to resolve user issues and maintain system stability.

Comply with development standards while identifying and fixing software flaws, conducting regression testing to maintain system stability.

Manage data imports, exports, and transformations across Service Management Platforms while ensuring data integrity and consistency.

Create comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.

Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and work as part of an adaptive DevOps team to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement

Provide mentorship and p romote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience

6+ years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 2+ years of exposure and experience with any of the following platforms: Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy, Halo or other Service Management applications

Woking knowledge and experience in the following product areas is must: ITSM, ITOM, Integration Hub, Flow Designer

Woking knowledge of API (REST, GraphQL)

Woking knowledge of SQL, mySQL

Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices

Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies

Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring / couching capacity

Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong programming and debugging skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Other Qualifications:

- Certifications: ITIL v4 foundation, ServiceNow CSA, CAD

Micro-Cert of at least one: Platform Analytics, Predictive Intelligence, Application Developer, Agile Development, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, ATF
