RDLC & SQL Developer
About the role
- Participate in RDLC and HTML-based report development, gathering requirements from customers using smERP with MS SQL Server as the backend system.
- Understand business requirements and functional designs, convert them into technical requirements, and develop reports while ensuring unit testing.
- Join an expanding national team and contribute to the development of SaaS products.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in report development using Crystal Reports XI, Crystal Reports 2016, RDLC, DevExpress, and Visual Studio.
- Strong knowledge of databases and SQL query.
- Proficient in creating SQL queries, views, indexes, functions, and stored procedures for report development.
- Experience in designing and developing Crystal Reports or RDLC with graphs, charts, sub-reports, and linked tables/commands.
- Ability to design complex reports based on business requirements and deliver them under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with reporting and analytical needs.
- Excellent communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn additional reporting tools to support smERP on Cloud.
- Ability to handle pressure, work under tight deadlines, and deliver finished products on time.
Major Responsibilities:
- Follow SDLC process for report development.
- Collaborate with the BA team to understand reporting requirements and produce requirements documents.
- Design and develop Crystal Reports or RDLC Reports.
- Create high-quality reports that meet international standards.
- Design, create, and document database objects for new and existing reports.
- Optimize database objects and report templates for optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to the smERP team.
- Convert design and user specifications into appropriate reports.
- Maintain report documentation.
- Assist support team by addressing tickets related to issues, problems, and queries.
- Test and deploy all produced reports.
Qualifications:
- BE, B Tech, B.Sc. IT, MSc IT, or MCA.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
