About the Role

We’re seeking a senior Java developer for an onsite role, focused on building secure, scalable, and innovative enterprise applications. This position blends strong Java engineering with modern cloud-native development, automation, and AI-driven productivity

Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE

Key Responsibilities:

Execute creative, high-impact software solutions and break down complex technical challenges

Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code to maintain engineering excellence

Automate recurring issues to improve application stability and operational efficiency

Lead technical evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture and solution fit

Promote engineering best practices and foster communities of practice around emerging technologies

Required Skills & Experience

Formal training or certification in software engineering

Strong Java development experience, including enterprise API development

Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability

Proficiency in automation and CI/CD practices

Deep understanding of the SDLC, resiliency, and security principles

Strong experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda)

Infrastructure-as-code expertise using Terraform

Demonstrated exposure to AI/ML, agentic AI, or intelligent cloud systems; ability to use AI tools like Copilot or Claude for productivity

Practical cloud-native development experience

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
