Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing people, processes, and performance while driving continuous improvement initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives.
The Operations Manager leads operational teams, manages resources effectively, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and works cross-functionally to deliver exceptional results in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure business objectives are met.
Monitor workflow, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure service delivery standards and operational targets are achieved.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
People Management
Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and operational staff.
Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans.
Manage employee engagement, attendance, and productivity.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Support workforce planning and recruitment activities.
Performance Management
Establish and track operational KPIs.
Analyze operational performance data and trends.
Prepare regular management reports and presentations.
Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
Drive accountability for results across teams.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
Reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality.
Implement automation and technology solutions where appropriate.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Financial Management
Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure financial targets and productivity goals are achieved.
Support forecasting and business planning activities.
Customer and Stakeholder Management
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Address customer escalations and service issues effectively.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain health, safety, and quality standards.
Conduct audits and implement corrective actions as required.
Support business continuity and risk management initiatives.

Experience
3–7+ years of operational leadership experience.
Experience managing teams and operational performance.
