Associate Product Manager – Generic Product Management

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Asssociate Product Manager (APM) to support the Generic Product Management team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic management and commercialization of a diverse pharmaceutical portfolio.
As a key partner to Product Managers, the APM will play an active role in market analysis, portfolio initiative elaboration, and execution of commercial initiatives. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to build strong foundations in pharmaceutical marketing space and portfolio strategy within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Market Analysis & Insights
Support the development of robust market analyses, including market size, growth trends, competitive dynamics
Generate regular market and performance reports to inform strategic decisions
Maintain and continuously improve product segmentation frameworks to support targeting and positioning
Marketing & Commercial Strategy Support
Partner closely with the current team of Product Managers to develop and execute marketing plans across the product lifecycle
Contribute to the design and implementation of action plan (POA) for the retail sales force
Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at maximizing portfolio performance and market share
Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
Assist in the management of product lifecycles, including launches, line extensions, portfolio changes, and discontinuations
Collaborate on the preparation and coordination of marketing and communications related to portfolio updates
Ensure alignment between commercial strategy and operational execution
Marketing Asset Management
Coordinate the creation and maintenance of marketing materials and tools, including:
Sales aids and promotional materials
Product appearance and packaging elements
Manage all products samples
Ensure all assets are compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with brand strategy
Data & Systems Management
Maintain and ensure accuracy of product data in GS1 and internal systems
Coordinate updates related to product changes, launches, and discontinuations
Act as a reliable owner of product information consistency across platforms
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Medical teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives
Facilitate alignment across stakeholders for successful product commercialization and lifecycle management
Your Skills and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
Experience
1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or as a pharmacy technician
Exposure to generic pharmaceuticals or portfolio management is a strong asset
Core Competencies
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into insights
Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
High attention to detail and quality
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with market data sources (e.g., IQVIA) is an asset
Experience with GS1 or product data systems is a plus

The typical hiring range for this position is $76,640-$95,800. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type. Certain positions may also be eligible for a sales commission structure as part of the overall compensation package.
