About the role
We are looking for an experienced Vertical Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to drive global marketing strategies for key industries and scale the positioning of our Buildings portfolio. In this role, you will own vertical marketing plans, shape compelling value propositions, and translate strategic narratives into impactful campaigns and content. Working closely with global stakeholders, you will enable sales and demand generation teams, leverage market insights, and ensure consistent, scalable marketing execution across regions.

How you’ll make an impact
As a Vertical Marketing Manager, you develop global marketing strategies and content tailored to building customers across the most relevant industries (verticals), reporting to the Head of Marketing for Verticals & Sustainability at Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings
Own & develop the marketing plan for the verticals incl. metrics and budget planning, collaborating closely with the Vertical Heads, our Technical Units, Countries, Communications and your peers in Offer Marketing
Author and orchestrate a marketing strategy that your peers and countries will be able to translate into campaigns & tactics
Ensure planning is in line with overarching Go to Market strategy
Articulate value proposition and strategic narrative and position our portfolio for Buildings in the most relevant industries and verticals (e.g. for Higher Education, industrial verticals, other)
Lead & design the strategic narrative providing guidance to demand generating and Sales teams
Ideate & craft battle cards and use cases on real life customer challenges
Create compelling, customer-centric content that can be used in an omnichannel and multipurpose approach for digital assets, Sales collateral, whitepapers, event storylines
Leverage market, customer and competitive insights as a basis for all of the above and where needed ideate, conduct and conclude on research in partnership with the business to create actionable insights
Lead selected industry events from a marketing perspective, including event strategy, storyline, topic focus, and business review
Stay up-to-date on relevant verticals trends and regulations, bringing new insights to the team
Your success is grounded in
Education: Degree in Marketing, Computer science, business administration, or a comparable discipline
Experience & Skills:
Experience in the Buildings industry and related products, portfolio and services knowledge a must have
Long-term professional experience in B2B Tech Marketing and proven track record in delivering complex B2B marketing projects on a global scale
Ability to translate thought leadership into real customer use cases by understanding both our portfolio, the industry and our customer needs
Understanding of concepts, practices and procedures in the most relevant vertical industries (e.g. Higher Education, industrial verticals, other)
Experience in content creation, customer and marketing research and analysis as well as vendor/agency management and have good knowledge of a state-of-the-art Marketing and Sales concepts, practices, metrics, and procedures
Knowledgeable in digital demand generation to work hand in hand with partnering teams generating demand
Ways of working
Ability to work across teams, contribute to technical discussions, and support engineering decisions in complex environments, while collaborating effectively across engineering, operations, and support organizations.
Strong technical depth combined with a hands-on and pragmatic mindset, as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working with a focus on long-term improvements rather than short-term fixes.
Passion for building reliable, scalable services and improving production environments in a sustainable way, along with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement across teams.
Languages
Strong communication skills and be fluent in English and be able to explain complex topic in an engageable way. Fluent German is a plus. Additional languages are welcome
