JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineering

DUTIES: Collaborate to gather and review software requirements, designing Spring Boot microservices, implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka, Jumpstart and automating tests. Utilize tools including Azure pipeline, AEH, JUnit, Mockito, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Jenkins. Provide quality, security, and observability through unit/integration testing, logging/metrics

(ELK), input validation, and operational best practices including GitHub, Jira, and resource tuning. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects and clients to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Work on dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing. Supports applications and solves configuration and environmental issues. Support the software deployment process.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation collaborating to gathering and reviewing software requirements, designing Spring Boot microservices, implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka, Jumpstart and automating tests; utilizing tools including Azure pipeline, AEH, JUnit, Mockito, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Jenkins; providing quality, security, and observability through unit/integration testing, logging/metrics (ELK), input validation, and operational best practices including GitHub, Jira, and resource tuning; working on dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing; and supporting applications and solves configuration and environmental issues; supporting the software deployment process.
