The role

As the Country Lead for the Data Centre business, you will oversee the full commercial lifecycle - from strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting through to the execution of sales initiatives and market expansion activities. You will also act as the Regional Key Account Manager for major accounts headquartered in Australia, building strong executive-level relationships and delivering long-term value-driven outcomes for customers and the business.

This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving market strategy, sales performance, customer engagement, and long-term business growth within the segment.

Key responsibilities

We are seeking a high-calibre, strategic, and results-driven Data Centre – Country Lead to lead the growth and overall commercial success of our Data Centre business across Australia. Therefore, you will;

Own and drive sales performance, budgeting, and order targets across the Data Centre segment

Develop and execute strategic action plans to achieve and exceed annual growth objectives

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, consultants, customers, and industry bodies within the local Data Centre market

Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging opportunities, customer trends, and competitive activity

Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting to leadership

Lead the conversion of high-value opportunities through strategic negotiation and solution-based selling

Manage key national accounts across Australia, building trusted relationships at executive and operational levels

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product roadmap priorities and market-focused solutions

Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to deliver impactful go-to-market strategies, customer engagement, and continuous service improvement

Requirements:

To be successful in this opportunity as a minimum you must have:

10+ years’ experience in Sales Leadership, Key Account Management, or Business Development within the Data Centre industry

Proven ability to manage complex commercial bids, strategic sales planning, and forecasting activities

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to balance high-level planning and hands-on execution

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualifications highly regarded

Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of building, mentoring, and driving high-performing teams

Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills, and disciplined approach to operational processes and performance management

Resilient, professional, and customer-focused leader with high ethical standards, sound decision-making ability, and the composure to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
