Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).

Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.

Perform SQL data modeling and database design.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).

U.S. Citizenship required (Federal contract requirement).

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Appian Certified Associate or Senior Developer required.

Proficiency in SQL, Relational Databases.

Key Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proactive approach to learning and obtaining higher-level Appian certifications.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Appian Certified Lead Developer designation.

Understanding of federal IT compliance (FISMA, NIST, Section 508).

Experience with performance tuning and application troubleshooting.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
