Job Description

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence in R&D? Join us as a Senior Manager, R&D Program Management, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping governance, optimizing processes, and leading high-impact program portfolios within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Location: Pont-de-Claix, France

As a key leader within the R&D PMO, you will:

Lead & inspire a team of 5–10 Program/Project Managers, ensuring successful delivery across portfolios

Drive PMO excellence by defining and implementing best practices, governance frameworks, and methodologies

Optimize processes through data-driven improvements and continuous innovation

Own portfolio strategy, balancing scope, budget, timelines, and business priorities

Influence decision-making by contributing to technical and strategic evaluations

Remove roadblocks and align cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate execution

Develop talent, fostering engagement, learning, and succession planning within your team

Partner with leadership to align R&D initiatives with broader business goals

What You Bring

Proven experience in R&D Program/Project Management leadership roles

Strong expertise in PMO governance, portfolio management, and process optimization

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance in a matrix environment

Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complexity into actionable plans

Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and people development

Compensation range for this position: €70,000 – €90,000 (annual) fixe
