Job Description

Are you passionate about tools, data, and enabling high-performing teams?

Join Salomon as a Sales Tools & Processes Specialist and play a key role in supporting our go-to-market teams across Europe. Acting as a business expert within the Sales Operations team, you will contribute to the management and evolution of key tools such as Salesforce CRM and our catalog and ordering platforms, ensuring they effectively support commercial execution.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business and technology, bridging headquarters and field teams. You will be a trusted point of contact, ensuring that sales representatives, key account managers, and market leaders have the right tools and training to capture customer insights, manage assortments and pricing, and execute sales strategies efficiently.

You will directly contribute to the success of Salomon’s brand-direct approach, supporting a community of users across sales, marketing, and merchandising functions throughout Europe. Your focus will be on driving usability, adoption, and continuous improvement - ensuring tools truly serve business needs.

Working closely with IT teams, you will help translate business requirements into actionable developments and contribute to shaping future tool roadmaps, while remaining focused on delivering practical, user-oriented solutions rather than purely technical outputs.

Your main responsibilities

1. Translate Business Requirements into IT Needs

Translate business requirements into IT needs as part of major projects.

Act as the primary interface with IT:

Clearly articulate business needs

Contribute to prioritization decisions £

Define acceptable vs. non-acceptable outcomes

Challenge IT to deliver required features on time

Support change management activities, including user adoption and training.

2. Deploy and Configure Pre-Season and Restock Sales Tools

Contribute to implementing changes in sales and CRM tools in line with brand strategy.

Collect and structure sales teams’ needs related to tools.

Coordinate the provision of pre-season order forms for each season within scope.

Coordinate the online availability of replenishment order-taking tools used by retailers and sales teams.

Manage the configuration of sales tools to ensure:

Merchandising rules are controlled

Commercial conditions are applied

Promotions and campaigns are correctly implemented

Ensure campaigns are fully visible to customers in sales tools.

Enable sales representatives to easily promote and sell campaign products.

3. Deploy and Configure CRM Tools

Contribute to delivering business monitoring and customer classification within the CRM tool.

Coordinate the monitoring of selected sales team tasks, enabling sales managers to analyze and steer team activities.

Ensure that store locator tools on brand websites are supplied with accurate data.

Manage and track trade marketing initiatives.

4. Sales Team Support

Provide support to sales teams in using the tools within scope.

Produce training content (digital and face-to-face formats).

Train sales teams on tool usage.

Formalize tool improvement requirements:

Communicate them to IT teams

Test solutions

Roll them out to users

5. Collaboration with Head Office & Group Teams

Serve as the central point of coordination across multiple HQ departments: Sales, IT, Merchandising, Marketing, Content Factory and other relevant teams

Collect and consolidate content from head office teams.

Deliver a coherent, operational, and functional toolbox to sales teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field

1–2 years of experience in Sales Operations, CRM, or a related field

Experience or exposure to Salesforce CRM tools

Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Fluent English and French

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple and engaging way

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfortable working with digital tools and systems in a fast-evolving environment

Ability to quickly understand interconnected systems and data flows

Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment

Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to propose innovative solutions

Experience in project coordination or digital transformation projects is a plus

Ad hoc travel within Europe may be required depending on training and project needs
