About the Role:
As a People Business Partner, this role acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders across Southeast Asia and regional commercial functions (Marketing, Quality). The position focuses on translating business priorities into impactful people strategies, ensuring the effective delivery of People & Organisation (P&O) initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with Centers of Expertise (CoEs), this role enables organizational effectiveness, talent development, and strong employee experience within a dynamic, matrix environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to drive the people agenda aligned with regional and functional priorities
Provide guidance and challenge stakeholders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives
Translate business needs into P&O strategies and actionable plans
Contribute to the development and execution of the P&O strategy across SEA and regional functions
Ensure alignment and consistency of processes, tools, and initiatives across markets and functions
Drive continuous improvement of processes, policies, and operations
Support organizational design, restructuring, and implementation of new operating models
Ensure compliance with Group guidelines, local regulations, and labor laws
Monitor and drive key KPIs, providing insights to support decision-making
Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and hire talent aligned with business needs and company values
Support workforce planning and headcount management in line with budget and strategic priorities
Facilitate internal mobility and international assignments where relevant
Drive performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning processes
Partner with Talent & Learning to identify development needs and implement learning initiatives
Act as a trusted partner for employees and managers across the employee lifecycle
Promote engagement initiatives, effective communication, and a positive working culture
Support change management in a matrix environment
Ensure implementation of reward policies
About You:
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience, including Business Partnering within a multinational environment
Experience working in a complex, matrix organization is highly valued
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into people initiatives
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work across cultures and functions
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities
Confident communication and presentation skills
Ability to build trust and work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems (e.g. SAP, SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus
Fluency in English; additional Asian languages are an advantage
