Education & Experience
Secondary 4 education or above
At least 1 year working experience in the manufacturing environment
Will be exposed to internal QA procedures, inspection standards, and confidential quality documentation
Skills
Basic math skills for measurements
Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) activities and monthly inventory counts.
Meticulous: Able to pay attention to details, careful & thorough in work attitude
Good verbal & communication skills
Able to handle job systematically
Working Conditions
This role is 100% onsite
Working Day Monday to Friday 8am -5pm
Work is performed in a controlled lighting environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform final inspection of coated products to ensure quality and customer requirements are met.
Review and interpret engineering documents, drawings, and sales orders to understand product specifications.
Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
Ensure proper segregation, labelling, and packaging of products according to established procedures.
Maintain an inventory of packaging supplies and support monthly stock checks for accurate inventory management.
Report quality issues promptly and provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures.
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices to enhance the quality control process.
Support the training and development of junior inspectors to ensure a high level of quality awareness throughout the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., quality management, engineering).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Proficiency in using inspection equipment and tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Good knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Willingness to undergo training and stay updated with the latest quality control techniques and technologies.
