About the Roles
We are seeking a QC Technician II to join a chemical manufacturing company based in Tuas, conveniently located within walking distance from the MRT. This is a permanent, full-time position operating on a Monday to Friday schedule (8.30am – 5.30pm). The role offers a competitive salary package with allowances, AWS, and variable bonus, along with opportunities for training and development.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare analytical standards and reagents while ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support the upkeep of laboratory instruments, recording all servicing activities.
Manage and organize ISO documentation and QA raw data records.
Update and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to track process performance.
Oversee inventory of retained samples and ensure all records are complete and accurate.
Handle incoming QA department purchases and verify items against supporting documents.
Assist the QA team with daily operations and ad hoc tasks when required.
Support audit preparation activities and ensure documentation readiness.
Identify and report near-miss incidents, contributing ideas to improve QEHS practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory in line with 5S standards.
Follow all EHS & QMS procedures and uphold workplace discipline at all times.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Diploma in Chemical or a related science discipline is preferred.
Familiarity with analytical instruments such as ICP-MS and AAS.
Basic knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 standards is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to work night shifts when required (shift allowance provided).
