About the role
GMDT Marine and Industrial Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a growing engineering company specializing in power generation and electrical solutions for industrial applications. We are looking for a strong sales leader who can drive growth, build a high-performance sales team, and our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets
Conduct daily sales meetings to review progress and pipeline
Monitor follow-ups, lead conversions, and client interactions
Support the team in closing major deals
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies for business growth
Identify new clients, markets, and opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with industrial clients and partners
Training & Performance Management
Train the sales team on product knowledge and selling techniques
Track team performance and improve conversion rates
Build a high-performing sales culture
Branding & Market Presence
Enhance the brand visibility and reputation of the company
Represent the company in key client meetings and industry interactions
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in power generation or electrical equipment sales will be preferred, including:
Diesel Generators
UPS Systems
Transformers
Stabilizers
Electrical Control Panels
Required Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
MBA / Master’s in Marketing (Preferred)
12+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing
Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
