Job Title: Healthcare Business Analyst Experience: 8+ Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Direct contract with Haparz Budget: Open

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in the US Healthcare ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Payer, Provider, Claims, Adjudication, EDI, Facets, Interoperability, and healthcare web applications. Candidates from an IT Services/Consulting background with excellent stakeholder management and requirement gathering skills are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from healthcare stakeholders.

Work closely with business users, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams.

Translate business requirements into Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), BRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Analyze existing healthcare workflows and recommend process improvements.

Support end-to-end SDLC activities including requirement gathering, UAT, and production support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver healthcare web application solutions.

Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and process mapping.

Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Grooming, and Retrospectives.

Required Skills

8+ years of Business Analyst experience.

Strong Healthcare domain expertise.

Experience in:

US Healthcare Payer & Provider

Claims Processing

Claims Adjudication

EDI (X12 Transactions)

Facets

Healthcare Interoperability

Healthcare Web Applications

Strong experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.

Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FRD, User Stories).

Agile/Scrum experience.

Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with HIPAA regulations.

Exposure to HL7/FHIR.

Experience with healthcare product implementations.

Experience working in an IT Services/Consulting environment.

Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Healthcare-related certifications are an advantage.
