About the role

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Develop a culture of continuous improvement by acting as a leader and expert in Operational Excellence, guiding and supporting OpEx teams and all employees in the implementation of lean tools, standards, kaizen projects and problem-solving solutions, in order to eliminate wastes, optimize processes and ensure the achievement of strategic objectives, across all the sites and global scale.

ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES:

Act as an expert and reference contributing expertise in the successful implementation of BRP management system and all its elements.

Development and improvement of new guidelines, policies, programs, processes, and

procedures, requiring comprehensive analysis and understanding of the area.

Serve as a facilitator and coach, ensuring the effective application of Lean Manufacturing

Promote lean thinking, driving cultural transformation and fostering continuous

improvement.

Consolidate continuous improvement data from BRP plants (KPIs, projects, savings, etc.)

Drive standardization of Lean methodologies, reports, formats, metrics, and definitions.

Promote digitalization and design and maintain internal websites (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI portals, etc.)

Manage best practices database and lessons learned platforms

Ensure the correct application of BRPMS standards.

Support, advise, and monitor the OpEx roadmap, ensuring its compliance and alignment with strategic objectives.

Organize, lead, and facilitate improvement events, such as workshops and Kaizen.

Guide and lead teams in continuous improvement initiatives

Contribute technical expertise in lean manufacturing, providing training, planning, and support for OpEx teams.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, promoting agile and efficient teams, and actively participating in root cause analysis, ensuring the identification of opportunities and the standardization of processes with high impact in decision making.

Define and monitor key indicators, providing data to improve and identify opportunities.

Coordinate activities with other OpEx engineers and facilitate global alignment meetings

Follow BRP values and behaviors

Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics

Enforce Quality BRP policy.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Expert in lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, Problem Solving, 5S, SMED, Kanban,Roundtable, BSC, Standard work, Job Rotation,etc).

Speak fluent English, French or Finnish (is an advantage)

Expert in HTML, CSS or JavaScript for digitalization or process automation.

Expert in data visualization tools (Power BI, looker studio, etc).

Use Project Management Office tools (PMO)

Create dashboard or internal platform (SQL or database management).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor: Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar

Specialty: Lean Manufacturing and Black belt lean six sigma certification

Seven years of experience in the area

Master degree: Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, MBA or similar (desirable).
