Service Technician (Marine Electronics) (4MBAtB)

About the Roles

We are seeking a Service Technician (Marine Electronics) to join a Marine/Oil & Gas organization based in Loyang, with transport provided for convenience. This is a permanent, full-time position operating Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, offering a competitive salary package with overtime pay and twice-yearly variable bonuses. The role is ideal for technically skilled individuals who enjoy hands-on work in both on-site and vessel environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carry out installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning of marine electronic equipment on vessels and at project sites.

Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with required technical specifications and safety standards.

Prepare and submit service reports and basic documentation after each assignment.

Organize and utilize the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for each job.

Liaise with customers to coordinate installation schedules and technical requirements.

Escalate operational issues and additional job requirements to supervisors when needed.

Assist with simple technical support and design-related tasks as required.

Detect and report any product faults or service-related issues.

Collaborate with the sales team to address technical queries from clients.

Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

What We’re Looking For

ITE or Diploma qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

At least 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Prior exposure to marine electronics or the offshore industry will be advantageous.

Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,500.00 per month
