Role Overview
Role Title: Business Analyst, Travel Services
Function: Business Analytics
Seniority Level: Associate
Employment Type: Full time
What You'll Do
Own the analytical narrative for the vertical: recurring performance reviews, ad-hoc deep dives, metric alignment with the central BA team, making sure the right people have the right numbers at the right time
Spot growth opportunities and flag risks early, turning raw data into clear recommendations that stakeholders can act on
Be the team's go-to for AI in practice: help colleagues figure out where AI tools actually save them time, run small pilots, and build habits that stick
Track the progress of key AI initiatives in the vertical, not just status updates but actively removing blockers and keeping momentum
Bridge the central AI team and the Travel Services team so that new tools and capabilities land with real adoption, not just announcements
Work with the central BA team to align on data standards and source of truth so everyone's working from the same foundation
What We're Looking For
3-5 years in business analytics, strategy & ops, or a data-adjacent role at a tech or e-commerce company
Deep curiosity about business context: you take time to understand how the business actually works, what drives performance, and what the numbers really mean before jumping to conclusions
Acts as an internal consultant to the team, advising on both AI and data needs, helping stakeholders frame the right questions, and translating business problems into analytical or AI-driven solutions
Strong SQL skills and comfortable working with raw data; proficiency in Python or R for data wrangling and analysis; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar) is a plus
Someone who already uses AI tools in their daily work and can articulate what works and what doesn't, in a way that gets non-technical teammates genuinely excited to try
Clear communicator, equally comfortable writing an exec summary and walking a teammate through a new tool
Good project instincts: you notice when things stall and you do something about it without being asked
Comfortable working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
