Cyber Project Manager (Cybersecurity / Security Analytics)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Project Manager to lead the delivery and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, with a strong focus on security analytics platforms. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end deployment of cybersecurity solutions, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with governance and compliance standards.

This role requires excellent project management capabilities, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and hands-on experience managing cybersecurity or security analytics projects within large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end cybersecurity project delivery from initiation through implementation, transition to business-as-usual (BAU), and project closure.

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.

Manage project execution using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Coordinate onboarding and integration of enterprise security platforms and data sources such as SIEM, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, and Threat Intelligence.

Work closely with business stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and senior management to ensure successful project outcomes.

Facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committee sessions, governance reviews, and executive presentations.

Monitor project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.

Prepare weekly status reports, executive dashboards, governance documentation, milestone tracking, and resource reports.

Manage project budgets, resource allocation, vendor performance, forecasting, and financial tracking.

Coordinate implementation partners and third-party vendors to ensure contractual deliverables and service levels are achieved.

Drive communication, user adoption, training, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with organisational governance, cybersecurity standards, and enterprise policies.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 10 years of experience in IT Project Management.

At least 5 years of experience managing Cybersecurity, Security Analytics, or Information Security projects.

Strong experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity implementations.

Experience managing projects involving security technologies such as:SIEMEDR/XDRIdentity & Access Management (IAM)Cloud SecurityVulnerability ManagementThreat Intelligence

Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders, executive leadership, clients, and vendors.

Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, compliance, and enterprise project controls.

Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
