A Biomedical Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains medical devices and healthcare technologies used to diagnose, monitor, and treat patients.
A Biomedical Engineer may:
Design and develop medical devices such as ventilators, CPAP machines, pacemakers, prosthetics, and patient monitoring systems.
Test and validate new medical equipment to ensure it is safe and meets regulatory standards.
Work with doctors, nurses, and researchers to improve healthcare technology.
Troubleshoot and maintain medical equipment in hospitals or manufacturing facilities.
Prepare technical documentation and support regulatory compliance.
Participate in research and development (R&D) to create innovative healthcare products.
Analyze clinical data and improve product performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering field.
Knowledge of medical devices and anatomy.
CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Programming (Python, MATLAB, C/C++) is an advantage.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Understanding of quality standards such as ISO 13485 and medical device regulations.
Pay: $7,900.00 – $10,800.00 per month
