Objective of the position:

Lead and manage all critical activities related to truck manufacturing processes and mechatronics on the shop floor, ensuring operational excellence through effective workforce management, adherence to work standards, and optimal use of equipment, tools, and electrical testing systems. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations, guaranteeing proper implementation of processes, balancing workloads, and driving continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events. The supervisor supports operational units (OUs) by focusing on cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and the control and continuous improvement of departmental KPIs. Additionally, the position plays a key role in leadership, team engagement, and people development to build a high-performance culture. All activities are carried out with a strong commitment to Safety, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction as top priorities.

Manufacturing process and mechatronical

Lean manufacturing tools (line balancing, VSM, PDCA, AMEF)

Design of pokayokes and error proofing systems

Desirable GD&T system

Desirable CAD, AutoCAD, solidwork software

English level: B2

Academic Knowledge: Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Business Management or related degree.

Main Functions:

Drive and coordinate the establishment and continuous improvement of production processes and standard work, ensuring lean practices, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety, quality, and delivery commitments.

Execute process management and control activities, including process analysis, line balancing, takt time monitoring, and governance of standard work. Contribute to the successful implementation of new projects and productivity improvement initiatives.

Foster continuous collaboration across manufacturing and mechatronics teams to guarantee efficient and successful implementation of changeovers, pre-series activities, and product launches.

Assist operational units in job balancing and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring structured feedback with OU Managers. Establish ongoing communication with internal customers (OUs/SUs) to support customer experience and ensure successful project execution aligned with plant KPIs.

Work closely with Logistics to implement updates in shop floor broadcasting, ensuring all production areas remain informed. Define optimal material placement in the production line and implement control systems to improve handling efficiency.

Introduce and implement new technologies to improve production efficiency. Define, select, acquire, and optimize assembly devices and tools (fixtures, gauges, and torque-controlled or manual tools) while ensuring their sustainability and guaranteeing product quality.
