Associate Account Manager

As an Associate Account Manager, you will help hotel and travel partners maximize their success on Expedia Group’s platform by building strong relationships, understanding their business goals, and providing data-driven recommendations to support growth. You will work closely with partners to improve content, rates, availability, and overall marketplace performance while identifying opportunities through marketing initiatives, promotions, and revenue management strategies. Using Expedia Group’s tools, insights, and self-service solutions, you will conduct regular business reviews, monitor partner performance, and support commercial conversations that drive results. This role combines account management, partner consulting, and analytical problem-solving to help partners increase visibility, attract more travelers, and deliver exceptional customer experiences, while also developing your own commercial and relationship management skills.

In this role, you will:

Build developing relationships with partners and their account teams, including key buyers and decision-makers

Create opportunities to strengthen accounts through progress meetings, fact-finding conversations, and exploratory discussions

Learn partner business goals and challenges, then recommend products, services, and insights that align to their needs

Complete basic account plans and use data and insights to support account growth and retention

Attend partner meetings, identify stakeholders, and help guide straightforward commercial conversations toward productive outcomes

Build working knowledge of contracts, internal processes, and company offerings while partnering with more senior colleagues when additional support is needed

Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and revenue management initiatives

Monitor partner performance and market trends

Travel occasionally to visit partners

Experience and qualifications:

You have 0-2 years of relevant experience

You have a bachelor’s degree; or equivalent related professional experience

You are proficient in English and the local language of the market you support

You are a proficient communicator who can exchange clear information and build support in straightforward situations

You have growing knowledge of sales techniques, and some account management experience is preferred

You are comfortable gathering data, identifying insights, and assisting with cost, benefit, and risk analysis to support business decisions

Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
