Job Summary:

The Intern, Training and Certification, will assist in the development, coordination, and administration of training programs and certification processes within the El Carmen Manufacturing Facility. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, contributing to employee skill development and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the creation and updating of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online modules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational procedures.

Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions, including communicating with participants, securing training locations, and preparing necessary equipment.

Help maintain training records and certification documentation, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

Administer and score certification assessments, providing feedback to participants and documenting results.

Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop relevant curriculum.

Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and suggesting improvements.

Support the onboarding process for new employees by assisting with initial training and orientation activities.

Perform administrative tasks related to the training department as needed.

Required Skills and Education

Job Qualifications:**

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in industrial engineering , Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Prior experience or coursework in training and development is a plus
