Job Description: Network Engineer – IT

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in networking technologies, certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, and a strong understanding of Cisco products. This role demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting complex network systems while adhering to the highest standards of reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support on-premises IT infrastructure across data center locations, including servers, virtualization platforms, and networking components.

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco collaboration platforms including Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meetings Management (CMM), and VQ Conference Manager (VQCM).

Configure and manage Cisco and Pfsense firewalls and switches to ensure robust network security.

Manage VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines supporting production and testing workloads.

Administer and maintain virtualization platforms like Proxmox.

Configure and maintain secure network connectivity, including IPsec VPN tunnels to cloud environments (Azure and AWS).

Set up and manage remote network access solutions such as Cisco-any connect and Perimeter81.

Provide technical support for Azure/O365 and cloud infrastructure.

Maintain and troubleshoot Windows machines and Active Directory / LDAP environments.

Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve complex collaboration-related incidents

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers to improve service quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications

CCNA or CCNP certification.

Hands‑on experience managing VMware ESXi virtualization environments.

Practical experience supporting Cisco collaboration technologies, including CMS, CMM, VQCM, and Expressway components.

Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking, and data center operations.

Experience with Pfsense firewalls and dell switches.

Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Proxmox.

Understanding of remote access solutions such as Perimeter81 and Anyconnect

Basic knowledge on Azure/O365 and cloud infrastructures.

Proficiency in managing and supporting Windows machines.

Familiarity with IT support workflows and ticketing systems.

Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain technical architectures and configurations.
