We’re looking for a strong automotive embedded engineer to join our team and help integrate supplier software into our vehicle systems. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working across both software and systems, and who’s comfortable learning new things.
This role gives you broad visibility across the entire vehicle system. You’ll develop a strong big-picture understanding of how all the pieces fit together, while having the opportunity to dive deeper into the areas that interest you most.
What you'll do...
Integrate supplier software into our vehicle architecture while ensuring design considerations for manufacturability, serviceability, and diagnostics
Define network interfaces and communication protocols between in-house and supplier ECUs
Manage and trace requirements in both directions using JAMA
Diagnose and debug supplier ECUs and their interaction with in-house systems
Support cybersecurity topics, secure boot, and bootloader integration
Perform software integration, bring-up, testing, and issue resolution on benches, HIL systems, and vehicles
Support vehicle-level testing at proving grounds when required
Identify process inefficiencies and develop automation tools using LLM and scripting to improve team efficiency
You'll have...
Strong background in embedded systems and automotive software integration
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
Hands-on experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and Vector tools
Experience working with requirements management tools (JAMA), Jira, and Confluence
Basic understanding of Git and standard software development workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews)
Ability to quickly context-switch across multiple technical domains
Demonstrated ability to develop tools using AI and scripting to streamline workflows
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel to support vehicle testing and integration activities when needed
