You do not need to be a financial advisor or wealth advisor to be considered. Many candidates are current insurance producers who simply want access to New York Life’s insurance products, training, support, and brand strength.

At minimum, candidates should already hold a life insurance license.
What You’ll Do
As a New York Life Financial Professional, you can help clients with important insurance and financial protection needs, including:
Life insurance
Annuities
Long-term care insurance
Disability income insurance
Retirement income strategies
Business protection strategies
Family protection planning
Legacy and estate planning strategies
You’ll have the opportunity to serve individuals, families, professionals, and business owners using New York Life’s broad insurance and financial solutions.
Transition Support for Qualified Candidates
Qualified licensed professionals may be eligible for New York Life’s TEA Program, a transition support program for professionals with prior financial-services-related income.
A prospective agent may be eligible to participate in the TEA Program if they:
Do not have a career agent contract with another insurance carrier
Had $30,000 or more of financial-services-related income in the previous 36-month period
Are life insurance licensed
Move their registration to NYLIFE Securities LLC, if they are a Registered Representative
Have appropriate errors and omissions coverage
Have an acceptable inspection report and FINRA record
Participate in New York Life’s Life and Annuity Expense Allowance Plan
What the TEA Program May Provide
Eligible TEA agents may receive monthly TEA credits during their first, second, and third contract years.
Eligible first-year commissions may include certain New York Life individual life products, individual deferred and immediate annuities, and certain long-term care insurance products. Some products and services are excluded under TEA Program rules.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a commission-based career opportunity. Income is based on individual performance, client development, production, and applicable contract terms.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for transition support under the TEA Program.

Compensation
This Other role pays $50k-$150k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
