Junior Architectural/Engineering Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Architectural/Engineering Assistant to support our design and engineering teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in systems engineering, CAD design, and construction processes. The successful candidate will assist in developing technical drawings and system models and conduct analysis to ensure project success. Duties

Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation software.

Assist in the development of system designs and product development projects, incorporating CAD and SolidWorks tools.

Support electrical and mechanical engineering tasks, including schematic creation and system modelling.

Conduct root cause analysis and debugging on systems and components to identify issues and propose solutions.

Participate in fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to GD&T standards and quality control protocols.

Collaborate with teams on system integration projects, providing technical support for system design and testing phases.

Assist with documentation of technical specifications, process flows, and system schematics for project records.

Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks or similar CAD software; experience with schematics is desirable.

Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, systems engineering, and mechanical knowledge.

Experience or knowledge of construction processes, fabrication techniques, and maintenance procedures.

Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis and debugging capabilities.

Knowledge of GD&T standards and product development methodologies.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Relevant construction experience or background in systems design will be considered a plus.

Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English.

Pay: £14.00-£17.50 per hour
