JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Lead CX/UX Research Consultant (AI‑Enabled Experiences) to provide strategic level research leadership for AI‑enabled products within Financial & Corporate Compliance (FCC). This role is a strategic individual‑contributor position responsible for ensuring customer and user experience insights directly inform product strategy, design, and delivery - particularly in areas where artificial intelligence plays a central role.

The Lead CX/UX Research Consultant (AI‑Enabled Experiences) combines deep CX/UX research expertise with AI literacy, curiosity, and applied judgment. Working in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design, this role helps teams deliver AI‑driven solutions that are usable, trustworthy, explainable, and aligned with real user needs, regulatory expectations, and business outcomes.

The Position

The Lead CX/UX Research Consultant (AI‑Enabled Experiences), reporting to the Associate Director of CX/UX Research, will be responsible for all aspects of UX Research for the FCC CT business unit.

Desired Experience

At least 10 years of relevant research experience

Significant experience working with senior clients, stakeholders, and developers

Experience in affecting large culture change that drives business performance

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Experience working in a Lean/Agile development environment

Excellent time and project management skills

Some experience in Finance and Compliance domain knowledge

Some experience working with organizational change management.

Educational experience

Bachelor's degree/University degree, Master,s degree a plus.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Collaborating with Leaders in Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering, to define the long-term vision and strategy for user experience research for the segment, aligning it with business objectives and goals.

Provide close partnership for senior business stakeholders and development heads to deliver world-class experiences through data driven decision making

Partner with Product Managers to understand business goals and objectives both at the portfolio and product level.

Lead the planning and execution of user research initiatives, employing a variety of generative and evaluative research methods.

Plan and execute generative and evaluative studies of various complexities and methodology.

Partner with embedded UX design leads/teams to evaluate prototypes and solutions with customers

Ensure Product teams gain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations.

Ensure that the product teams are using research findings, data and insights to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.

Drive the culture of feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement in the user experience.

AI Analysis:

Use AI‑assisted data analysis techniques to accelerate synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research data (e.g., clustering themes, identifying patterns across large datasets, and surfacing emerging signals).

Apply AI‑supported persona development and segmentation approaches to generate and evolve evidence‑based user archetypes grounded in behavioral, attitudinal, and contextual data.

Contribute to the exploration and use of AI‑enabled journey mapping and experience modeling approaches (e.g., scenario simulation, agent‑based representations, or dynamic journey artifacts) to help product teams reason about complex, multi‑step user workflows.

Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to evaluate and shape the use of AI systems that support research operations, customer intelligence, and experience measurement.

Critically assess AI‑generated insights for bias, validity, explainability, and alignment with user needs, regulatory constraints, and ethical design principles.

Provide guidance to stakeholders on where AI meaningfully enhances research and decision‑making - and where human‑led research remains essential.

Stakeholder management:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of user experience goals.

Regular, transparent communication of status and metrics to management and stakeholders

Advocate for, and actively implement, standard processes to ensure quality and consistency of work, and a joined-up approach for all teams in the business group/division.

Involve all members of cross-functional teams in research and analysis

Industry awareness:

Staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in user experience research.

Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging UX trends and innovations.

Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations and tools

Compensation:

$118,300.00 - $207,400.00 USD

This role is eligible for Bonus.
