Job Overview:

The Project Management & Productivity Development Department in Charleston is responsible to plan & execute plant projects. We plan visits of executives, workshops, track the productivity of the plant and support the office of the CEO.

Responsibilities:

Support the preparation, execution and follow-up of interdisciplinary workshops

Independently plan, execute and document subtasks within the projects

Create PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings

Coordinate deliverables, meetings, reports, plans and other activities

Identify and track efficiency measures for the plant

Qualifikationen

Qualifications:

Having graduated within the past 12 months or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Business or Engineering related field

Knowledge in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Strong analytical and communication skills

Structured thinking and quick comprehension

Preferred Requirements:

Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master’s degree. A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study

Available for a minimum of 6 months

Preferred 40/hour work week, but part time hours are also available.

Additional details:

Hourly rates hourly pay rate of $20.00hr for our internship program. This is local position, remote work is not available.

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (“MBV”) is a Ladson, South Carolina based production entity that produces Sprinter as well as eSprinter vans for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

The Sprinter plant officially opened in 2018 and serves as a key part of the Mercedes-Benz Vans global production network. MBV Charleston was selected as the first plant in this network to produce the all-new eSprinter, beginning in 2024. The company also continues to invest in the local community through donations to non-profits and schools, as well as active support of STEM education initiatives and volunteer programs.

Since 2006, Sprinter and Metris vans have been assembled in North Charleston and delivered to destinations across the United States. In 2025, the plant celebrated the assembly of the 5,000,000th Sprinter in the Mercedes-Benz global production network. The U.S. remains the second largest market for Sprinter vans after Germany.
