OpenText Exstream Template Configurator

We are seeking a skilled OpenText Exstream Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of document generation solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream (including Cloud Native edition), strong SQL capabilities, and a sharp analytical mindset to support data-driven communications and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build templates in OpenText Exstream to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain scalable document generation solutions.

Integrate Exstream with enterprise systems and insurance platforms.

Translate business and technical specifications into maintainable code.

Optimize existing solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Support SaaS implementations using the Cloud Native edition of OpenText Exstream.

Write and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and product owners.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with OpenText Exstream (HP Exstream / OTX), including real time and batch processing.

Strong understanding of P&C Insurance workflows, including policy lifecycle (New Business, Renewal, Cancellation).

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.

Experience with Spring Boot, XML, XSLT, and scripting languages.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with customer communication workflows and document composition.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native architectures and SaaS deployments.
