Position
As an Accounting Intern (m/w/d) , you are responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable for our Headquarter in Munich.

Job responsibilities
As Accounts Receivable Accountant, you are responsible for processing financial transactions. Your responsibilities include managing the flow of funds from the POS system to the bank, resolving discrepancies in cash, credit card payments, and similar transactions, clearing bank deposits and withdrawals, and preparing daily reconciliations. You will reconcile all accounts receivable, process customer refunds, and manage access to our payment systems.
As Accounts Payable Accountant, you will give support to the team to ensure the correct receipt of invoices in accordance with proper accounting principles, including e-invoicing. You will support and manage payment notices and manage open items. Maintaining supplier master data is also part of your responsibilities, as is processing travel expense reports.
As a team player, you will assist with project-related tasks, stand in for your colleagues, and resolve discrepancies with our payment providers, stores, and the e-commerce team. You are an important point of contact for colleagues and internal and external partners. You will report directly to our Accounting Manager.
Profile
EXPECTATIONS:
Completed Bachelor or equivalent qualification
In-depth experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
Knowledge of invoice processing in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and e-invoicing
Long-standing experience with ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP (modules FI/CO/MM)
Good knowledge of Purchase Order Management
Proficient in MS Office applications
Team player with strong communication skills and a sense of responsibility
Independent and structured way of working
Good written and spoken German and English skills, other languages are an asset
