Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new fund structures and business areas, carry and co-investment structures, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).
We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.
The role:
We are looking for a Tax Director to join our team. The individual would lead a variety of UK corporation tax and international tax projects for clients in a variety of sectors.
Key responsibilities:
Be market facing, drive sales on allocated clients and target organisations
Hold and control high level conversations with senior stakeholders in the markets and be capable of introducing relevant specialists from across the firm
Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality, service delivery and commercially
Actively promote team and personal profile to internal networks in order to promote collaboration and increase internal leads
Take lead on design and delivery of proposals for new business opportunities
Play a key role in people development activities (coaching / mentoring) for less experienced team members
Identify key client issues that represent opportunities for other KPMG teams to capitalise on and play active role in introductions.
The individual:
Qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent
Successful track record of new business origination within International Tax projects through both internal and external activities
Excellent commercially
Display technical strength in our specialist markets outlined above
Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude that translates across the team
Inspirational leader
Displays an inclusive, collaborative approach and operates in an inspirational & respectful manner with colleagues, clients and the wider community
