Statistical and Financial Reporting Analyst

Location – Sydney CBD and Parramatta

Employment type – Ongoing Full time

Salary – $113,574 - $125,720 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

Join the Industrial Relations Commission within DCJ and play a key role in delivering high-quality statistical and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity to apply your analytical expertise to support decision-making, funding allocation and operational performance. You’ll work with diverse data sources and modern tools to deliver insights that drive transparency, accountability and improved outcomes across a complex and impactful environment.

What you’ll do

As part of the Superior Courts team, you will deliver statistical and financial reporting and analysis to support operational and executive decision-making.

You will

Develop and maintain statistical and financial reports for operational and management purposes

Undertake data collection, cleansing, analysis and visualisation to support business insights

Design and maintain methodologies for activity tracking, cost allocation and funding attribution

Monitor data quality, investigate issues and ensure integrity of reporting outputs

Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting and analytics

You’ll work in a collaborative, high-performing team environment, engaging with finance, data and operational stakeholders to deliver accurate and meaningful reporting outcomes

What we’re looking for

Experience using data analytics and visualisation tools, with the ability to analyse, interpret and present complex data clearly

Strong financial acumen, including experience in financial analysis, reporting and cost allocation methodologies

Ability to communicate analytical and financial insights effectively to a broad range of stakeholders

Relevant tertiary qualifications in statistics, finance, economics, data analytics or equivalent experience
