About this Position

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Telesales Representative who thrives on building relationships and achieving sales outcomes. This role is responsible for actively selling to an established customer base, driving revenue growth through outbound and inbound sales activity, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring customers receive outstanding service every day.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct proactive outbound sales calls to generate orders and maintain customer engagement

Upsell and cross-sell products across the full PFD range

Promote PFD programmes, specials and value-added offerings to customers

Contact customers regarding out-of-stock items and recommend suitable alternatives

Build and maintain effective long-term customer relationships

Identify opportunities to improve customer profitability and trading performance

Re-engage inactive or lost customers and win back business wherever possible

Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback to management

Maintain customer pricing, account information and contract pricing accuracy

Set up new customer accounts and maintain customer records

Create pantry and order sheets using customer purchasing history

Manage customer complaints and ensure appropriate follow up and resolution

Support broader branch operations as required

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

Proven sales, telesales or customer service experience

Strong upselling, cross-selling and negotiation skills

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Professional and engaging telephone manner

Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred

Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals

Positive attitude and desire to succeed in a performance-driven environment

Understanding of the end-to-end customer service process
