About the role

What you'll do

In the Senior Project Officer role, you will develop, implement and evaluate service enhancements, models of care and patient flow frameworks. You will build effective relationships with stakeholders across the Department of Health, Hospital and Health Services and other key partners, while preparing high-quality project documentation, reports, briefs and correspondence. You will also provide secretariat support to statewide committees, networks and working groups.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

Project management skills, including the ability to define project tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities effectively to meet competing deadlines, with a track record of proven and sustained outcomes.

Proven ability to communicate with influence; interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.

Demonstrated ability to proactively analyse situations and identify and successfully implement practical and innovative strategic and operational solutions.

High level written communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation and prepare briefing documents, submissions, correspondence, and reports.
