Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Crew Member to join our coffee shop team. The Crew Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing high-quality beverages and food, maintaining cleanliness, handling customer orders, and supporting the daily operations of the café. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and thrives as part of a team.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming café environment.

Take customer orders accurately and process payments.

Recommend beverages, food items, and promotions based on customer preferences.

Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.

Beverage & Food Preparation

Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.

Heat, assemble, and serve food items while following food safety guidelines.

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

Store Operations

Maintain cleanliness of the café, dining area, counters, and workstations.

Restock ingredients, cups, lids, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.

Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors of low stock.

Support opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup and cleaning.

Health & Safety

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely.

Adhere to company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.

Teamwork

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Assist colleagues during busy periods.

Participate in training sessions and continuously improve product knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a café, restaurant, food service, or retail environment is an advantage but not required.

Barista experience is a plus.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
