Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling statutory compliance, supporting payroll, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
Prepare customer invoices and vendor payment schedules.
Statutory Compliance
Assist with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
Support timely filing of statutory returns.
Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and auditors when required.
Billing & Payments
Generate invoices and payment requests.
Track customer collections and outstanding receivables.
Process vendor payments after verification and approvals.
Maintain accurate payment records.
Inventory & Documentation
Reconcile inventory with purchase and sales records.
Verify purchase bills and supporting documents.
Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Support preparation of MIS reports.
Assist management with financial data and analysis.
Maintain accurate accounting records and reports.
Payroll Support
Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs.
Verify attendance, reimbursements, and salary-related documentation.
Support payroll processing and employee expense claims.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Bank reconciliation and ledger management.
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
Invoice processing and payment tracking.
Inventory reconciliation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar accounting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Finance (B.Com preferred).
M.Com or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Experience in retail, trading, manufacturing, or inventory-based businesses is preferred.
