Cyber Security Intern

JOB PURPOSE

Support the Cybersecurity team in monitoring security activities, tracking key metrics and KPIs, reviewing user access, and maintaining cybersecurity governance processes. This role provides hands-on exposure to security operations, governance, and awareness initiatives, helping strengthen the organization's overall security posture while building foundational cybersecurity skills.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Generate and control cyber security metrics and KPIs.

Participate in cybersecurity and infrastructure projects

Maintain cybersecurity inventories and records.

Help maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management platforms.

Support and manage cyber security training.

Review and document security policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for students who are interested in building a career in Cybersecurity and are eager to learn in a hands-on environment. Preferred qualifications include:

Interest in Cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AI-powered tools.

Exposure to security frameworks, governance, or compliance topics through academic projects, coursework, or personal learning.

Basic awareness of security technologies such as Firewalls, WAF, DLP, EDR, IDS/IPS, and Anti-Spam solutions.

Interest in Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and security monitoring.

Curiosity about threat detection, incident response, and cybersecurity operations.

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

LOCATION:

Vila Olimpia, SP or Campinas - SP - Up to twice a week at the base office.
