We currently have a Senior Accountant position available with our client, PKF Tamworth. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a team member based in India.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

We are in search of an individual who will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive services to our clients. This position offers exposure to various domains, including but not limited to:

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts.

Preparation of work papers substantiating Financial Statement balances

Preparing compliance filing and returns such as FBT, BAS and IAS

Expert Financial Reporting across a diverse range of business entities

Skillful Tax Compliance for entities of various structures, alongside detailed advisory services

In-depth Research into taxation and business matters

Proficiency in widely used accounting software such as Xero, MYOB.

To be considered for this role, your background should ideally include:

Any graduate or Qualified or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant.

Proficient in Xero is a must. Exposure to MYOB is preferred.

5+ years of experience in business services within a chartered accounting context

Knowledge of payroll regulations

Knowledge of GST matters.

Xero Accreditation is recommended.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A positive and adaptable attitude

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Experience with primary production clients is a preferred, but not essential.
