Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards at client locations. The role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, handling cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of residential, commercial, and office premises.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, furniture, and workspaces.

Clean washrooms, kitchens, glass surfaces, and common areas.

Collect and dispose of waste according to hygiene standards.

Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Use cleaning chemicals as per company guidelines and safety procedures.

Refill consumables such as soap, tissue paper, and sanitizers when required.

Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment after each assignment.

Follow daily work schedules assigned by the Team Leader.

Wear the prescribed Fixzep uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately.

Maintain professional behaviour and communicate politely with customers.

Follow all company SOPs, quality standards, and safety policies.

Eligibility

Minimum education: 10th Standard or above.

Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Freshers with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.

Basic Tamil communication is required; basic English is an added advantage.

Skills Required

Good work ethic and positive attitude.

Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Time management and punctuality.

Attention to cleanliness and detail.

Customer-friendly approach.

Willingness to work at different client locations.

Working Hours

8-hour shift

Weekly one day off
