Position Overview:

The AI Intern will identify, develop, and improve artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that support company goals. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience working with data, AI models, automation tools, and emerging technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities to leverage AI.

Design, develop, test, and optimize AI solutions.

Research AI trends, tools, frameworks, and best practices to support ongoing projects.

Evaluate model performance, identify issues, document findings, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Follow responsible AI, data privacy, and security guidelines in all project work.

Job Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Working knowledge of Python and SQL

Hands-on experience using AI tools to create efficiencies

Basic experience with the Microsoft technology stack

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to learn quickly, manage tasks independently, and collaborate in a team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular in-person collaboration with team members at our Chicago Support Center.

Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods

Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
