We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with BigQuery, Python, SQL , and modern data engineering frameworks for building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP.

Build and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, Python, and SQL .

Develop batch/streaming pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam) or Dataproc (Spark/PySpark) .

Create and maintain workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow) .

Optimize BigQuery performance, partitioning, clustering, and cost.

Implement data quality, monitoring, reconciliation, and production support.

Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver reliable data platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering.

4+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience (Mandatory).

Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification (Mandatory).

Strong experience with:

BigQuery

Python

Advanced SQL

Cloud Composer (Airflow)

Hands-on experience with Dataflow (Apache Beam) or Dataproc / Spark / PySpark .

Experience with Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, CI/CD, and Git.

Strong knowledge of data modelling, warehouse design, query optimization, partitioning, clustering, and production support.

Preferred Experience

Data migration to BigQuery from platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or Redshift .

Experience with dbt, Dataform, Dataplex, Looker, Terraform , or Data Governance is an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications

Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer (Mandatory)

Additional GCP certifications are a plus.

This job can be filled in Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad #LI-Hybrid.
