Salesforce Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and enhance Salesforce-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and project teams to deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, OmniScript, and other Salesforce technologies.

Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, and related platform features where required.

Participate in solution design discussions and recommend technical improvements or alternative approaches.

Ensure all development follows established coding standards, governance, and best practices.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and deployment documents.

Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues promptly.

Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Support deployment activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Development.

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification and Salesforce Administrator certification are required.

Experience developing with:Apex ClassesApex TriggersLightning Web Components (LWC)VisualforceOmniStudio (preferred)

Strong understanding of Salesforce platform configuration and customization.

Knowledge of Salesforce deployment processes, release management, and CI/CD tools is an advantage.

Understanding of software development methodologies and project lifecycle.

Experience working on Government or Public Sector projects will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
