Post specific related information
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA) with a minimum of four years postqualification
experience in a finance management or similar leadership role
Proven experience leading, developing and supporting teams, creating an environment
of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and professional growth
Demonstrated ability to contribute to organisational sustainability through sound
financial management, commercial awareness and a focus on delivering value and
impact
Strong working knowledge of financial management, accounting and payroll systems,
with a commitment to leveraging technology and process improvement to enhance
effectiveness and efficiency
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to analyse complex
information and present financial data clearly and accurately
Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all
levels of the organisation, influence positively, navigate challenging conversations and
support effective problem-solving
Experience managing external audits and maintaining string financial controls,
governance and compliance standards
Proven ability to prepare, interpret and communicate financial reports and insights to a
range of audiences, supporting informed decision-making
Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and discretion, with the
ability to manage sensitive financial, organisational and people-related information in a
confidential and trustworthy manner
Previous experience of working in the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous but
not essential
