Description
We are seeking applications for the following permanent role:
Administration Grade IV - Permanent, Full Time Post.
Duties and Responsibilities
The position of Grade IV Administrator encompasses administrative responsibilities in the Service Area which include the following: -
Administration supports to the Management and Clinical team in SA2.
Duties include
minute taking and typing of minutes.
Dictaphone and copy typing. S
Setting up and maintaining excel spreadsheets, collating data, administration of referrals,
Managing Diaries
Setting up of appointments and meetings
Provide Reception Cover when required
To perform such other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned from time to time by the manager or his/her nominee.
Professional:
To have an excellent knowledge of St. Michael’s House policies.
To ensure confidentiality on all matters and information obtained during the course of employment.

The post holder will have access to various types of records/information in the course of work.
Such records and information are strictly confidential and unless acting on the instruction Of
an authorised person, on no account must information concerning staff, service users or other
service business be divulged or discussed except in the performance of normal duty. In
addition, records may never be left in such a manner that unauthorised persons can obtain
access to them and must be kept in safe custody when no longer required.
Essential Experience:
2 years previous experience in administration
Familiarity with databases including data collection and inputting
Excellent organisation skills
Excellent IT skills including strong proficiency in MS Word & Excel
Proven ability to collect and interpret data for processing
Flexible and the ability to multi-task
Highly motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
An ability to be highly professional and confidential
A proven ability to work on their own initiative, and as part of a team

Salary Scale:
Successful candidates will be paid in line with June 2026 HSE revised consolidated Grade IV Salary Scale point 1: €36,470 to point 12: € 56,018 LSI per annum based on working a 35-hour week.
Please note, should you have no previous public sector you will be placed at point 1.
The post holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the post, which may be assigned to him/her from time to time, and to contribute to the development of the post while in office. This job description will be subject to review in the light of changing circumstances.
